I am= sure they can be copied or scanned, but it may be in violation
of severa= l copy rights. I will be out of town until late Saturday.
I c= an get into the safe deposit box next Monday. Instead, I would
sugg= est copying information on our web site for handouts.

I = have checked, I do not have the banner. I do have some

I do not believe they shou= ld be exposed to the outdoor elements.

       All,

I've been told that a S= ACMARC banner was made for a previous event.
Can anyone tell me who curre= ntly has custody of it? If you have it,
       please let me know.
Also, if anyone has any= informational displays created for previous
events I would appreciate kn= owing about them as well.

       _
       George,

Thank you for the intro= duction and for your support.

       Everyone,
What began as a c= asual idea discussed following the All
Communicators Picnic has become a = reality. With your help I plan to
put K0GRL on the air as a special event= station during the two days
of the Offutt AFB Air Show. With Field Day h= aving just concluded I
don't think there are any "technical" challenges t= o putting a
station on the air. The only challenge is putting a team toge= ther.

= As George mentioned bel= ow, I need lots of help. In particular, I
need people to staff the statio= n as operators, loggers and greeters
to talk to people about SACMARC and = amateur radio. The air show
gates will be open 9:00am - 5:00pm. The plan = is to have the station
on the air from 10:00am to 4:00pm, six hours each = on Saturday and
Sunday. Depending on the number of people who are availab= le to
operate I'd like to setup 'shifts' of 1 - 2 hours for people to tak= e
turns operating and/or logging. I wouldn't ask anyone to spend the
enti= re day talking on the radio. We need to have at least three
people at the= booth at any given time, more would be better.

= Ken Lemke (AC0DQ) has v= olunteered the use of his radio and
antenna, but he has to work for the b= ase the day of the air show, so
he isn't available to operate. I plan to = have a sun shelter setup
with tables, radio, antenna, chairs, equipment a= nd refreshments by
the time the gate opens. Operators will (hopefully) ha= ve a "walk on"
       role.

= For the sake of discuss= ion, let's start with two hour shifts, and
we'll lower lower it if we hav= e enough volunteers. Tentatively, the
       shifts would be 10am - Noon, Noon -= 2pm and 2pm - 4:00pm. Amateurs
working the Air Show in support of the 55= th Medical Group and Sarpy
EMA are certain welcome to take breaks at the = SACMARC booth and
either operate or talk about Ham radio with air show vi= sitors.

= All volunteers, p= lease e-mail me (kc0ykn@cox.net) with your
preferred day and= shift. We need to get a list of people who will be
staffing the booth to= the air show staff, so I need to know as soon
as possible who our volunt= eers are. If you don't have a General (or
higher) license I'm sure we can= find a control operator to allow you
       to operate legally.

At the SACMARC quarterly meeting held Friday, June 20th a proposal was made and approved for SACMARC to setup a special event station to
hon= or the late General Curtis LeMay (by using his amateur radio call
sign K0= GRL) in conjunction with the Offutt AFB Air Show on August
       16th & 17t= h.
Dennis Mitchell (kc0ykn) has volunteered to lead the proje= ct. This
is the first event station he has been associated with, so he'll= need
lots of help. Ken Lemke (ac0dq) has already been in contact with th= e
air show staff and Offutt Public Affairs. Offutt Air Force Base staff
       h= ave approved this event.
If you can assist Dennis with planning and setup of the st= ation, or
more importantly, operating the station during the air show, pl= ease
e-mail him at kc0ykn@cox.net to give him some encouragement and your support.
       Thank you,
