       Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Jay Raymond, MSG USA Ret. (N4NIK) I served in a
"non-existent" organization in Berlin for a period of about 9 ye= ars
during the cold war years. Some of the radio equipment that we u= sed,
was quite antiquated--used by the French underground during WW 2= .
       We
also had some radios cached in strategic places in case the ball= oon
       ever
went up. One of the radios (RS-6) was developed by Motorola for = the
Strategic Air Command at the behest of Col. LeMay. It is a cryst= al
controlled high frequency radio to be used in event of a crash i= n
       China,
or wherever, to call for help. I was able to bring one of them h= ome
when I returned to the states. (They were destined for destructi= on)
There was only one manual for the radios that we used for traini= ng.
       One
had to check it out from the commo chief's safe and return it wh= en
       you
were finished. I have a short history of the radio but no operat= ing
manual. I would be interested in making contact with anyone who = has
       any
information on, or experience with this radio. If you have any i= dea
       who
I might contact in this regard I would really appreciate the
information. I can be contacted at the following:
       rymjy@ida.net
       (208) 754-9344
Thank you for any assistance that you may be able to give.
       Kindest regards,
       Jay N4NIK
