It may be good in some respects, but one downside will be that by returning
to drawing signals off the air, our nearby neighbors will be more succeptible
to from end overload and other forms of interference. We'll need to be more
vigilant about TVI than we have with cable and satellite systems.

Thanks to high-definition television, antenna sales are increasing. New
antennas are capable of picking up over-the-air high-definition signals. Cable
operators compress high-definition signals. Over-the-air signals aren't
compressed. So some say antennas provide a better picture.
