Well, it was a long, fun filled day. A special thanks to the crew out at
NWS for putting up with me and my chatter.

Brian, please pass along my most appreciative thanks to those folks. I
    was treated well.

On the way home after the long day, I spoke with Ken (A0DQ) who ran the
sister station; K0GRL from his station at home.

Ken reported 304 QSO's to my 200. Not bad at all, I will be interested
to see how many Dick managed in the evening.

Most exciting part of the long day was working the Australian station
who only needed Nebraska to complete his WAS. What fun that was.

I would like to comment that the behavior of all the stations calling
was above and beyond and made my task much easier. A couple of times I
asked for everyone to stand by while I tried to get someone and you
could hear a pin drop it was so quite. Very proud to have been working
with such a great bunch of folks during the day.

Anyway - soon as I have a complete QSO count I will pass it on and there
were some pictures taken so will post those to the web site when I have
    them all.

The station at NWS was superb, the 4 element tri-band antenna and the
Ameritron 600 watt amp performed like a dream all day.

Thanks to all of those who called and to those who we were not able to
get into the log, please come back next year as we will do it again..

    73's all.
