On Saturday, November 11, 2006, The Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club (SACMARC) will operate a two special event stations in honor of veterans of all services using the call signs K0AIR and K0GRL.

K0GRL, Gen Curtis LeMay's call sign while assigned as Commander-in-Chief of SAC, will be on the air from my QTH from 0900 to 1700 local time. I am looking for volunteers to help operate. Any licensed ham radio operator, Novice through Extra class is invited to operate SSB on the HF bands, with N4OWG as the control operator. You can work the entire period, or for much time as you like.

This is a great way to get on the air and enjoy the world of HF. Refreshments will also be available.

To sign up, please respond to this email, sign up at the Bellevue ARC meeting on Oct 19, 2006, or call me at 402-537-9793 or 402-290-3749.

    73 de John, N4OWG
