On behalf of the newly elected, re-elected officers, and members of SACMARC
for 2006, I want to wish all of you a happy, prosperous, and healthy new
year. Although we are a fairly small club, we still accomplished several
great events during the past year. Now that the holiday season is winding
down and our "new year's resolutions" are starting to take affect; now would
be a good time to reminisce of what was done last year and to think of
events you'd like to see repeated or new events that you would like to see
us do as a club. You can contact me or any club officer with your
suggestions. Remember that a "breath of fresh air" can help an organization
grow and change, so let's continue to work on increasing our membership.
(We did add three new members in Nov 05) Speaking of membership, dues for
2006 are due; still at a bargain price of $5.00 for single (which is less
than some Wendy's value meals!) or $7.50 for a family membership.
I'll repeat what many club presidents have said in the past - This is your
club; and as officers, we are here to assist you in molding your club into a
form that is agreeable to the membership. Your input will greatly help us
along the way.
Again I hope your new year started off happy and that good things happen to
you and your families throughout the year.
