The Bellevue Amateur Radio Club will begin conducting Amateur Radio theory
training class beginning on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 8:00 AM in the Bellevue Police
Substation at Southroads Mall in Bellevue, Nebraska. The class should wrap up
by 4:30 PM.
The Saturday session will introduce students to the aspects of the radio hobby, and review
a DVD training series.
On Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 8:00 AM, we will provide a 2 hour review session prior to the
test administration. We will review selected portions of the information and discuss questions
students may have. At 10:30 AM, the testing will start.
Anyone wishing to attend is requested to e-mail Ray McNally at: n5sez@arrl.net<mailto:n5sez@arrl.net> so that the
required amount of training materials can be obtained prior to the Saturday meeting. Please
include "Amateur Radio Classes" in the subject line of your e-mail message.
All who desire to test at the Sunday session are required to register by April 22, 2004 so
required testing materials may be acquired. This may be done via a email request to Steve
Rassmusen at: n0wy@alltel.net<mailto:n0wy@alltel.net> . Limited walk-in testing may be available.
More information about amateur radio can be found by visiting the American Radio Relay
