Bring your analog or digital VOM* to the March club meeting and we'll decide
how far off yours is. Even if you don't have one you may have an
opportunity to go home with one. Les WB0KFK of D&L Antenna awarded the club
a digital pocket model as he left the March Hamfest. The assembled members
will decide the disposition of it at the 03/27 meeting.
Now we won't actually 'calibrate' your VOM, but I've found these digital
models, even the very cheap ones, are amazingly accurate. We'll compare.
There will also be a separate category for best in class of the analog
models. Bring your analog (regular meter with printed scale and pointer
needle) meter and see if it's within half a volt measuring 12VDC.
