    Field Day 2003 is rapidly approaching. As in years past, I will be happy to consolidate orders for T-Shirts and Pins in order to save on shipping costs.

    Please note that there are two versions of the T-Shirt this year. One has the Field Day logo printed on the front side. The second version is the same, but has "GET ON THE AIR" printed on the back to celebrate the new GOTA station category. There is also a Field Day Pin and a GOTA Pin.

    The T-shirts are $12.95 each and the pins are $5.00 each. If our club order total exceeds $75.00, we only have to pay a one time shipping charge of $10.00. I would like to place a single order (last year we made three separate orders, tripling our shipping charges), preferably no later than the 18 April (the day following the April Club meeting).

    Show off your support for ARRL Field Day with official T-shirts and Pins. The commemorative 2003 design and slogan "WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS..." emphasizes Field Day's 1933 origins as an emergency preparedness exercise. This year, the event gains a new entry class (Class F) to identify stations operating at emergency operations centers.

    Groups will also enjoy the new GOTA Pins and GOTA T-shirts offered this year to help identify and recognize GOTA (GET ON THE AIR) operators. The front of the GOTA T-shirt has the 2003 Field Day logo, and includes the words "GET ON THE AIR" on the back.
