    All Radio Clubs,

The Aksarben ARC would like to extend an invitation to all amateurs to attend the Multi Club Picnic on Saturday, May 25th. It will be at Mahoney State Park from 11 AM to 6 PM.

For $2.00 per person the Aksarben Club will provide the hamburgers, all-beef hot dogs, buns, relish, mustard, catsup, charcoal and grill. We ask those attending to bring a cover dish or dessert and their beverage of choice. Alcohol is not permitted in a state park. Please pay when you arrive at the picnic site.

We have reserved a lake side shelter. We have received permission from the SAC Memorial Amateur Radio Club to use the K0AIR call sign. There will be an ICOM IC746 HF station on the air.

We certainly hope to see many clubs and their members at the picnic. It will be a real opportunity for many area clubs to meet each other and have a great ham event.

    Thank you and 73,
    Dick Newsome W0HXL
    President AkSarBen ARC
