John Sheffield let me know about an unexpected rescheduling of the Armed
Forces Day crossband communications tests between amateur and military
stations. Because the Dayton Hamvention fell on the same day as Armed
Forces Day (May 20th), the communications tests were moved forward one
week to May 13th. This left us without an organized operating event on
our scheduled day of appearance at the SAC Museum. Because of this (and
other factors, including key SACMARC members going to Dayton that
weekend), I've let Denny Hahn know that we can't make this event. He
said that he understood, and that everything is still a go for the QSO
    Party in September.

I'd like to thank everyone who volunteered to cover this event. Maybe
we can support Family Day and/or Armed Forces Day at the SAC Museum next
    year.
