Tentative plans are to operate both stations, K0AIR and K0GRL, for the
Air Force Anniversary QSO Party (now an annual event after the first one
was held in 1997 for the 50th anniversary of the USAF). I will
coordinate the K0AIR operation, which will be at either N4OWG's place,
or at the SAC Museum (pending approval). Clay Mayrose, WA6LBU, is
interested in hosting the K0GRL operation at Elkhorn. Clay will
coordinate with the base and obtain approval. The QSO Party will run
from 0001 UTC September 19th to 2359 UTC September 20th, 1998.
Volunteer operators are being actively solicited for this event. Please
contact either one of us for more information.
