Don't forget that our next quarterly regular business meeting will be
this upcoming Wednesday at the Bank of Bellevue, corner of Galvin and
Harvell Roads, Bellevue, Nebraska at 7:30 PM.
We should be able to quickly clear several long-standing business items
of interest to the membership, including:
- The first edition of our club newsletter will be available for inspection
(not sure at this point whether it will be a final copy ready to hand
out, or a draft)
- Presentation of our Certificate of ARRL Affiliation by Bill McCollum,
KE0XQ
- Signing of our Articles of Incorporation after the final round of
minor, administrative changes (corrections to mailing addresses, fixing
spelling/grammatical errors, and moving wording between Articles and
Bylaws to meet state requirements) such that they can be given to Brian
Zdan, KM0Y, for submission to the Nebraska Secretary of State
- Updates about our efforts to obtain a quote for QSL's
I will also have our certificates from the USAF 50th Anniversary QSO
Party (K0GRL and K0AIR placed first and second for Nebraska,
respectively).
New business will include upcoming activities this year, including
Armed Forces Day in May and the new USAF Anniversary QSO Party (now an
annual event) in September. We also have an ARRL Report to fill out.
Don't forget that this is the last opportunity you will have to pay your
1998 club dues (still $5) before being dropped from our membership
rolls.
