ORGANIZING SAC MUSEUM EXHIBIT FOR 1998

The Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club (SACMARC) will be
setting up a special exhibit next year at the SAC Museum near Ashland,
Nebraska. The club is seeking loans or donations of military radio
equipment and historical documentation. In addition, SACMARC welcomes
personal accounts (oral or written) concerning General Curtis LeMay,
50s-era SAC communications systems (including Air Force MARS), or
amateur station K0AIR at Offutt Air Force Base. They would especially
like to hear from anyone who knows the identity and whereabouts of a ham
known only as "Al" who often operated K0AIR during the Vietnam era.

If you have anything you'd care to contribute, contact either Paul
Schleck, K3FU, at 402-291-6176 (e-mail pschleck@novia.net) or Steve
Hunt, KB0MYH, at 402-291-9253 (e-mail shunt23877@aol.com). You can also
write to SACMARC at PO Box 1292, Bellevue, NE 68005-1292.

73, Paul, K3FU
