SACMARC Executive Board Meeting, Wednesday, September 10th

From: Paul W Schleck K3FU (pschleck@oasis.novia.net)
Date: Sat Sep 06 1997 - 10:25:05 CDT

A meeting of the Executive Board of the Strategic Air Command Memorial
Amateur Radio Club will occur one week prior to our quarterly regular
meeting. The Executive Board meeting will be Wednesday, September 10th,
7:30 PM at the public meeting room of the Bank of Bellevue, corner of
Galvin and Harvell Roads, American Plaza, Bellevue, Nebraska.

Following the lead of the Bellevue ARC, the purpose of such Board
meetings will be to hash out detailed business and reduce it to a
compact, organized agenda of motions and other items to be quickly
reviewed (possibly with a vote to approve or disapprove) by the
membership at the regular meeting (though obviously other items may be
brought up at that time as well). All interested parties are welcome to
attend and contribute input.

Our tentative agenda includes:

- Secretary's Report, including minutes of the last business meeting on
June 25th

- Treasurer's Report, including an update on our checking account

- Property Manager's Report, including our membership roster

- QSL Cards for the B-29 operation (and possible future events)

- Club newsletter, including its title, format, length, and distribution
(this project, though traditionally done by the Secretary or Property
Manager, is wide-open to anyone who wants to run with it and do a good
  job)

- Final copies of our Articles and By-Laws for submission to the ARRL
  and the Secretary of State

- Our Incorporation Package

- Our ARRL Affiliation Package

- ARRL Club Liability Insurance

- Honorary Life Membership Certificates

- Charter Membership Certificates

- Certificates of Appreciation for B-29 Event

- Updates about USAF 50th Anniversary QSO Party plans

- Proposed formation of a new ad-hoc committee, the history committee,
consisting of the leadership and principal volunteers of the SAC Museum
project

- Updates about SAC Museum exhibit plans

- Proposed formation of a courtesy committee (Sid, W0WWH, and Nadeane
have graciously volunteered, and this would be useful to coordinate
appropriate courtesy to those who are members of both the Bellevue ARC
and the SACMARC)

Let me know if there are any agenda items that anyone wants added to the
list.

73, Paul, K3FU

SACMARC President
